Moose Trax Forge/ Jack Harrill
Custom Roger"s Rangers style hawk. Head formed from one piece of 1095 steel. Differentially heat treated so the edge
is harder than the rest of the head. The handle is made of curly maple. Designed as a fighting tool.

Condor throwing axe. One solid piece of steel.
French Trader's axe. Reproduction hand forged in the USA. Hawksmith series. Made from 5160 high carbon steel.
Cold Steel Trail Hawk. I sprayed the head and handle with a rubber coating. I then added a bit of leather and tacks
for the additional effect.
Cold Steel Frontier Hawk. I wrapped the haft in rawhide that I tanned from a deer. I then wrapped the head in camo cloth
and added a few brass tacks. I decided to mix up the design on this one!!

Cold Steel Hawk. I painted the entire hawk with a rock texture paint. Eventually the blade coating will wear away with
use but the handle will be good for a long time. When worn...repaint!!
An unusual style hand forged hawk. Head of 5160 steel. The haft is a bit longer than others I have at 23". It would make
an excellent weapon!!
